Kevin- The bottom one is clean and simple. The only problem I see is the "Garage" stands out more than "Powder Coating Specialists" does. That would be fine on a business card where the viewer can focus on the detail.
The top one would really turn heads on the back of a shirt. The color can be reversed if you wanted to print that on a black shirt. BTW- I wear an XL...;)
I'm very happy with what he came up with. I sent him a list of what I wanted and he kind of threw it out and did these. I'm glad though because he knows art and I don't. If he'd have done what I asked him it would probably looked like a cluster. I think I'll stick to restoring stuff and let Andy stick to creating stuff. I know my limitations.
Hi Kevin,
ReplyDeleteI say make the bottom logo the front logo and make the larger top logo the back of the shirt...
Reuben
That's exactly what I've been thinking for the front and back. I do think I'll use the bottom one for business cards and vehicle signs though.
ReplyDeleteI like them both.
ReplyDeletei love the first one its an awsome design
ReplyDeleteHey Kevin,
ReplyDeleteI say the second logo.
Looks clean and retro.
Ronald

Thanks for the words Ken. I had one of our board guys do the logos. Andy is his name. He goes by Zumografx.
ReplyDeleteAndy is a great guy to work with. He was very patient working with me when I had my 82 Blazer under construction.

ReplyDeleteThey both look great, but the top one has a retro vibe to it.
ReplyDeleteWhen do the shirts come out in big fat boy size?
