Got the engine and transmission today

I gave 100 for a used running engine and transmission today. It's a 6 cylinder 250 cubic inch engine. The reason I am going in this direction is that I hope to drive this truck soon and with good fuel economy, so the 6 cylinder fits the bill. The forklift made loading real easy.




I hope to get it detailed and installed pretty quickly.

    Hey I've been checking out your blog and its great. Nice score on the motor I have a 292 in a 66 1ton panel w/3 speed back home and that thing will pull a house off a foundation. Check out this site for the 250 gotta lot of good tech stuff for the cylinder head.
    I'm gonna keep following your blog. If you see a guy in a gold 70 GMC suburban running around old town spring throw a hand up its me.
