A special set of training wheels

The fellas up and the fire department and I know of a special needs young man in our district.

He'd wanted a bicycle but hadn't ever learned to ride. So the fellas got a local store to donate a returned bicycle that they had laying around and I built a pair of sturdy large sized training wheels fit for a full grown student rider. Being a full sized mountain bike, it was a logistical nightmare with the rear derailleur being in the way that a smaller, single speed bike wouldn't have had.
